Hi All Affiliated StGBA Clubs,
Based upon the current NSW Government announcement and Health Order as announced today (25th June 2021), the StGBA Management Board has considered all alternatives and is faced with no real alternative other than to CANCEL Round 12 of the 2021 Winter Competition.
This decision was not taken lightly and is reached based on that:
– We have teams and/or players who live in the affected LGA’s
– More importantly and far reaching is the fact that anyone who works in those LGA’s and was at work over the last fortnight are also now forced into a “stay at home” order.
Both of these factors will significantly impact the ability for teams to field a team this weekend.
All games for Round 12 will be recorded as “No Game”. Which will mean no team is affected in the standings.
The StGBA Management Board will continue to monitor the current situation throughout next week, and make any necessary changes for future rounds should that be necessary.
