Baseball Bat Regulations:
Choosing the right baseball bat is essential for both performance and safety. Before you purchase any new equipment, please ensure it meets the current standards required for your specific grade.
Junior Divisions:
Players in Tee Ball, Zooka, and Little League (Minors and Majors) are required to use bats that carry the official USA Baseball stamp. These bats are specifically designed to perform similarly to wood to ensure a safe and balanced game for younger players.

Intermediate and Junior League:
Players in these age groups have the flexibility to use either a USA Baseball certified bat or a BBCOR certified bat.
Senior League and Adult Grades:
For our players in the St George Baseball Association winter competition, including those in 5th grade and 7th grade, all metal or composite bats must be BBCOR certified. These bats must feature the official certification mark and have a drop weight of exactly negative three.

Wooden Bats
Solid one piece wooden bats are permitted for use in all divisions of the club. Composite wood bats are also allowed for use in our adult senior grades.
Prohibited Equipment:
Please be aware that bats marked with the BPF 1.15 stamp are no longer legal for use in any Little League or Junior divisions. Using an illegal bat during a game will result in an automatic out for the batter.
