To our Arncliffe Scots Baseball patrons & supporters,
It goes without saying that times have been difficult for all community sporting clubs across NSW, with firstly COVID-19 and more recently, with the floods and persistent rain that has washed out training and games in recent months.
Our home grounds at Phil Austin relies on an income stream such as that from our Canteen and Bar sales. With our never-ending running costs: electricity and field maintenance, just to name a few, we rely on our Canteen and Bar to keep up with these expenses.
So with this in mind, we’re asking for volunteers to help run our Canteen – both across our Senior and Junior levels. Anyone, and everyone, that is willing to help would be welcome: whether it’s serving food, preparing food or running the Canteen from open to close.
Someone will be available to guide and show you how to use everything, but you would have control around how you would prefer to run the Canteen on that day or as often as you would like. We can’t do this without your help ๐๐ป
If you are interested, please reach out to Ralf (who has been running the show most recently) in person or via email: [email protected]
As with our above request for assistance with running our Canteen, we are also in need of volunteers to help with running our Bar this summer.
If you are over the age of 18 and have your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol), or happy to undertake your RSA training, please get in touch with us or speak with Dave who oversees our club Bar.
If you are happy to undertake your RSA training, via the online course at your own expense, we’ll happily refund your RSA training fees once you have completed both the course and a minimum of two shifts serving in our bar. You must be certified and be able to show your RSA card in order to serve alcohol.
Kind Regards,
Arncliffe Scots Baseball
