Are you interested in playing baseball?
Our Club has been established in the St. George area of Sydney since 1913, based at Phil Austin baseball fields in Kogarah.
Our Junior teams play in the Cronulla Sutherland Junior Baseball Association competition, which typically runs from September through to March, with a break across the Christmas holidays. Children can start T-Ball at approximately 3.5 years of age, which they play until approximately age 8-9. Our Under 10’s play Machine Pitch or Zooka, before moving to live pitch baseball from the Under 12’s and above.
Many of our Junior players also play at representative levels with the Cronulla association, with a number of our kids headed to represent NSW at the national Little League Championships in June.
Our Senior teams play year round: Summer with the Cronulla Sutherland Minor League Association and Winter with the St George Baseball Association.
We welcome players, young and old – we have teams for every ability. The only age restriction for Senior players, is that they must be aged 15 prior to the commencement of that season.
Registration for the Junior season typically opens in mid-July, with Try Baseball days happening across the same month. These days are a good way for any prospective players and their families, to come along and see if they’d like to give baseball a go.
For our Zooka-aged kids and above, they will also have try-outs. This is where we observe the kids over one or more training sessions, to guage the ability and experience of each child, and then graded them into teams according to their abilities.
